Is there a call out charge?
No. Our charges start from when the engineer arrives on site.

When does your ‘no clear no charge apply?’
As most domestic drain blockages are relatively simple we beleive the best way to assure you that you will get what we promise is by offering a no clear no charge policy. However, when the drainage problems you expereince become more complicated and require a more elaborate solution it would be unfair to offer a no clear no charge policy. Becuse of this no clear no charge is restricted to the following criteria:
          - Domestic properties only
          - Drain cleaning work that does not involve other trades (e.g plumbing)
          - Subject to a satisfactory site survey upon the engineers arrival. (We will always tell you when it  is   applicable and when it is not)
          - The drainage system is structurally sound and in tact.
          - There have been no known previous problems with the drainage system.
          – The property is within a ten mile radius of Cross Hill House, The Choke Folk Head Office.

Over the phone pricing and estimates
All estimates and pre-pricing is strictly subject to receiving accurate and detailed information. A project related to emergency response is always priced subject to site survey and all contracts no mater how big or small are subject to risk assessment and will not proceed until health and safety implication have been fully assessed. This may effect the costs in relation to any services provided.

How much will it cost to clear the blocked drain?
Costs depend on the time taken to clear the blocked drain. As a guide, most toilet blockages can be cleared within 2 hours however this cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the severity of the problem and available access. Our operatives can advise roughly how long they think the blockage will take to clear once they have appraised the situation.

What method will be used?
Our operatives will advise on site, although high pressure water jetting is often requested to ensure the most satisfactory and effective results. Jetting unblocks and cleans the pipework. Our engineers will arrive with a variety of tools including drain rods and high pressure water jetting equipment. Our charges allow for the use of all of these tools as necessary.

How quickly can you get here?
We aim to attend blocked drains the same day. We do offer a 24 hour service and therefore crews are available to attend outside of normal working hours for emergencies, for a slightly increased charge.

Can I use an offer in conjunction with an other offer?
No, unfortunately not. To keep the cost of our services as low as possible, we carefully construct our pricing structure and every offer must be exclusive. You will however be given a complete, fixed price, quotation before the work starts allowing you to make an informed decision before accepting our services.

What areas do you cover?
For blocked drains we cover Central Scotland If your area is not mentioned please feel free to contact us.
