Pricing & Payment Policy

We have a clear, upfront, open and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown here on our website and our staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job. Our engineers will always show a comprehensive description of work carried out and a full breakdown of labour and material charges are shown on all invoices.

Hourly Rates:

Our hourly rates will vary depending on day, time and urgency of service required. Please contact us via email or call Tel: 08450 035250 for specific hourly rates, day work rates and fixed prices. On work which is not completed to an agreed price our time is charged in 15 minute increments after the first hour. Our rates can often be reduced by as much as 50% by taking up one of our pre planned maintenance packages

Fixed Price:

Our engineer will give a verbal or written quote if requested before work commences. All quotations are subject to 20.0% VAT.

Day Rate:

Charges are based on a full 8 hour day and must equate to hours actually worked. The charge must be reduced pro rata if less than 8 hours are worked.

Materials:

Materials supplied by Choke Folk will be charged at trade price plus 20% mark up.

Material Collection:

Material collection time for non stock items will be kept to a minimum – any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance and not exceed £60+vat.

Estimates:

Estimates are available from our engineers or we are happy to make an appointment for an estimator to visit you.

Invoice:

An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out – time started/time finished, a full breakdown of the cost of Labour and materials used.

Payment:

Payment must be made in full by credit card, cheque or cash to the engineer upon receipt of invoice.
† Some estimates may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, the area and the time of
the appointment. Any charge made will be deducted from the final invoice.
